What is JSL?
We are women of Stillwater who have a heart to meet our community’s needs in a variety of ways. We are currently about 35 women strong that meet monthly. We serve Stillwater and Perkins with operating 2 annual missions, an ongoing mission and an annual fundraiser.

What does JSL do?

Harvest II: A city wide food drive collecting approximately 50,000 lbs of food to help stock 8 local pantries. This event is held annually in the Fall. This is truly a community and family event. We have up to 500 volunteers and our children love to pitch in and help. JSL just recently celebrated its 28th year for this mission.

Operation Christmas Store: JSL works closely with COCAA to provide income eligible families from Payne County with Christmas gifts for each of their children from newborn through 18 years old. JSL also provides a package of socks and underwear for each child, wrapping paper and a box of food for Christmas dinner.

Crisis Intervention: JSL has a relationship with each public school counselor in and the local mission houses. We meet any emergency needs, plus standard supplies to help struggling families.

The Scorcher Half Marathon and 5K: This is the JSL annual fundraiser held the beginning of June. This event is growing and currently in its 5th year. The first and only half marathon in Stillwater to date!
